2. Information Collection and Use

A. Data Processed Locally on Your Device

Mentalist Mind Tricks stores progress and preferences locally on your device using Android DataStore. This includes:

• List of mastered tricks and lesson completion status.
• Current user rank level (Amateur, Apprentice, Adept, Mentalist, Master).
• Unlocked content status earned through progression or rewarded video ads.
• First-launch onboarding status flag.

This data remains strictly on your local device and is never transmitted to or stored on external servers owned by OmniLab Studios.

B. Information Collected by Third-Party Services

To keep the application free, we integrate Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads. Google AdMob may collect and process certain device information, including:

• Device Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (GAID / AAID), IP address, and network state.
• Ad Interaction Metrics: Information on ad impressions, clicks, video completion, and performance data.
• Coarse Location Data: Approximate regional location derived from IP address to deliver relevant advertising.

3. Application Permissions

The app requests the following standard Android permissions strictly for functionality:

• android.permission.INTERNET: Enables loading of advertisements from Google AdMob servers.
• android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Checks whether your device has an active internet connection before requesting ad content.

4. Advertising Opt-Out & User Choices (GDPR / CCPA)

You have full control over personalized advertising on your Android device:

• Opt out of Personalized Ads: Navigate to your device Settings → Google → Ads → Reset or Delete advertising ID.

Mentalist Mind Tricks is intended for general audiences aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. Because we do not maintain accounts or back-end databases with user information, your progression data resides solely on your physical device. You can permanently delete all local app data at any time by clearing the app's cache/storage in your device settings or uninstalling the application.
